MS-5488 Abba Hillel Silver Film Collection. 1929-1963
Arrangement Note: The collection is retained in the original order of the WRHS accessions M2001-002 and P93-0073, excluding the two VHS tapes.
Scope and Content Note: The collection consists of twenty-seven films from the 1920s to the 1960s. Most include Rabbi Abba Hillel Silver in his professional roles as rabbi and Jewish community leader, but the collection also includes two home movies, one from the late 1920s and the other undated; film of the meetings of the Cleveland Zionist Society in the 1930s; and a film of Kfar Silver in Israel in 1958.
